Feel free to enter the post you would like to test below - the allowed tags and how you can use them should be quite similar to deviantArt, the possibilities similar to what you can do in your Journal as subscribed users (so you can use image tags and similar). The :devUsername: and :iconUsername: codes will be replaced by default avatars and links, as will the :thumb12345: codes, to better allow you testing your formatting (so you could, for example, test how your Journal looks like before posting it). Again, note that the :thumb12345: code only gives a sample image, deviantArt would not like it if I retrieved the actual thumbnail from their servers (same for the icons, that's why you'll only see default icons).
Emoticons won't be replaced, that would be a lot of work with the huge emoticon list we have, and I guess it's already looking pretty close like your actual deviantArt journal if you post it n.n
