my 2nd deviantID
(by Tobias, Jul 20, 2003)

This will be my second deviantID on deviantArt, because the first one wasn't quite fitting anymore, since I changed Tobias' design.

Mwahaha. I'm such a snoop. :O

Your birthday is only one day away from mine. o-o;;

XD

Well, I can see that you did improve alot over these years, though you've never lost your style of cutness. ^-^

Phiyrr hugs. :3

Heh, that one's ancient, you know? ^^; Sooo, your birthday is December 8th, or December 10th? ;3

But yup, thanks for your nice words ^-^ I think as long as one keeps drawing and practicing, they get better and better with each drawing, sooo just wait until you look at your own work in a few years of time (proooovided you keep practicing, no? Imagine, that was the very best I could do at that time (it took me loads of tries too), and I was incredibly proud of it, but now I can see heaps of little mistakes) ^-^

*Toby hugs back* X3

Ancient or not ancient, everything's a treasure. :3

December 8th 1993! W00T! So that means your approxamately six years and one day older than me. ;D

It's like the law of an artist, just what you said. I remember when I was seven I really wanted to draw anime. I came out with peole with abnormally large heads and small bodies. I now look at that and say, "Did I really draw like that?" XD

Hehe, you're right ^-^ I'm barely throwing anything away, so I have a huuuge bag full with paper I look through every once in a while (more like every year or such), heh, maybe I should scan one of those once?

Large heads and small bodies? Kind of sounds like chibi-characters, no? But yup, you're right, practice is all it takes - and actually, the same happens to me if I look at my slightly older ones (like Toby in the guestbook picture has waaay too big pupils in his eyes ;P ).

We'll get better and better, right? Noone can stop us, mwahaha X3 (and you'd not only get better in drawing, but also in swimming, seeing how much you pratice this as well ^-^ )

A huge bag of papers? Not that different at all from an exploding binder. XD

Well, if you really want to scan one picture in, go right ahead. You can make one of those cool 'before-and-after' with it, too. :D

Phiyrr giggles.

Well, I was aiming more or less for manga then, but it didn't seem to work. But finding mistakes in artwork is yet another way to improve, right? :3

Yesh. Neva evea evea! Heheh. But thanks. I'm sure you'll get better at everything you do as well. Ecspecially drawing. And of course, many people now a days wouldn't know that your from Austria, first meeting you, since your English is flawless. ^___^

Hehe, oh, so you're having an exploding binder? ;P I just put the really old ones in some supermarket plastic bag, and keep them there, the newer ones I usually sort by whether I plan to scan them, change them, finish them or try them again or such - it works pretty well, really (even though the really old ones aren't a very interesting sight anymore at all) ;P

Hehe, that's true. Even though, for Tobias pretty much one of the first pictures I have of him (this one) I scanned already anyhow ;P How about old skool Phiyrr - what character did you start off with?

Yup yup, it is - and actually, if you try and start giving critiques on others work, that helps too, because it makes you find mistakes on your own drawings more easily as well ^-^

Mwahaha, naw, neverrrr X3 Oh, and thanks - actually they would know I'm from Austria, as soon as they hear me actually speaking English ;)

Heheh. I even collect pictures from other artists to study them in my binder. Ancient, brown papered ones are in the back. But it's still nice to look back on the oldies, no? ;D

Well, as you know I started with a fox. Not much differetn from the last Phiyrr before 'raccoon-ification,' except a more tan color:

Yes, though sometimes, like in my school friend's artwork, it's kinda hard to not hurt their feelings. D;

But you do try, right? ^___^

Well, my friends in Poland say I have an English accent and don't understand me, but my friends in America say vice versa. So I'm wholly imported from China. XD
