Colouring Pages - Holidays for Two
(by Tobias, Aug 25, 2006)
Two little friends, enjoying their time in summer together ^-^

I tried a slightly different approach here - instead of inking the picture and then scanning it, I scanned the pencil drawing and outlined it digitally, so it should make the outlines a little smoother and less shaky ^-^ Not sure whether I'll stick to it, since the resolution is usually pretty high, so the other pictures look nice printed as well, buuut it's definitely something I meant to try ^-^

This picture is part of the colouring pages here, for you to print out and to colour. Please give me credit for the lineart if you publish this image, even if you coloured it (such as, if you're submitting it somewhere to the internet). For any commercial use, please contact me for permission ^^

All pictures you see in the colouring pages gallery should be at 150dpi, so to get a printout of the size the picture originally was, try setting your printing software to that resolution (though it'll also look fine at other sizes ^^).

To print this image, click the "Print Image" link just below the image - you'll get a new window that has just the picture in it, and nothing else. From there, you can use your browser's print function to print the drawing (usually "Print" in the "File" menu). If your browser offers a "Print Preview" feature, be sure to use it and play around with the orientation - some drawings look better on landscape. Of course, you can also right-click to save the image, and then open it with your favourite imaging software, which will very likely give a much better print quality.

Actually, the bee was just an afterthought, really - to liven up the picture, buuut I'm glad I put it in now ;3

Thank you ^-^ I'll see into which one I'll end up with, since this one's quite a bit more work than just inking a picture and scanning it ;P

Aww, what - inking a picture?

(by the way, just curious - what does your text on Phiyrr's profile page say? :> )

Aye. I can only outline a picture with pencil, but I ink it, it goes horribly botchy. :x

(Oh, on the character page? It means, "There is nothing here now." It's in Polish, of course. ;3

Aww ;_; How do you ink your pictures? I usually draw the picture with pencil first, then ink the outline with an ink pen (which is really easy, because I'm just tracing the pencil lines ^^ ) aaand finally use an eraser to go all over to picture to remove the pencil lines ^-^

(Awr, I see ^^ And yup, that's what I meant - I should understand Slovenian as a Slavic language, but Polish seems to be a whooole different story ;P )

I usually just use a mechanical pencil to outline; I didn't really start inking my pictures, untill sixty grade, where I used a shabby permament marker over pencil. xD

{Well, not all look the same. Like, Russian is totally Slavic, but it has Greek letters and stuff. :B}
