Comments & Critique

You mean screenshots of your comments? I thought you had that little program of yours that download notes and comments. ;P Which reminds me...sorry for asking again, but do you have a link to that program? It's hard to look at the stack of notes, wondering where we discussed this. Have you thought of a keyword search?

Messages erased sounds cruel. ;_; I've never had them happen to me, so maybe I'd better back them up as well.

Oh, screenshots of pretty much everything, like if something weird happens, ooor if I just want to keep something I see as a memory - could be a journal entry, could be anything. Just copying out the text is not the same, that's like retyping a letter on a typewriter and then throwing it away.
The notes I download though, because they're like mails and I treat them like that - no idea, screenshotting notes doesn't make sense because only I can see them anyway and I'm fine with having them as mails ;P

Actually both, the notes and the site itself have a keyword search - all you need to do is going to your inbox (or the sent messages, whichever of them you want to search) and clicking "Search for messages" at the bottom ;3 ) The program you can find here, by the way ;3

Oh, happened to me a couple of times already. Which taught me to save important stuff off devArt and on my computer, many things on devArt are not as permanent as they seem.

Weird stuff always happens on my browser all the time, especially when it comes to buttons moving to random locations. ;P

I had a very weird feeling you were going to tell me that the site already had that feature. >_<; I must not look around that much. Sorry. ^^;

I heard something about old images not being able to be full-viewed? Is that still around?

Anyway, it's probably very late at night right now, so I don't want to keep you up. ;P Nighty night.

(Thanks for the link. ^^ )

Oh yes, they've had that problem for a long time too, but I think it's an issue with Internet Explorer mainly ;P And yup, a lot of older images and downloads don't work anymore because at some point devArt just lost their work <.< People also frequently delete their work or store it, so that's not really permanent as well, same goes for journals, and on bans they now purge everything from the account anyway - so, if you want to really save something, you can pretty much just screenshot it ;3

Hehe, the good thing having things on my site is that if I need a feature, I can just add it, like that search thingy ;3 I thought it'd be easier at some point, so I just added it, but that was a loooong time ago already ^^

(You're welcome - and as you noticed, I already went to bed when you wrote this ;3 )

The button problem only started happening to me with the IE7 beta. Still works fine in IE6, though. I cooould get Firefox, but I'm still pretty fine with IE. The ads about Firefox, however, are what really annoy me. I see them all the time. X_x Even Deviantart is starting to bug us about it to the point where the new version of DA was only compatible with Firefox. It's like Mac people telling me to switch over from PC.

Hmm, just so I become aware of some changes to your site, you think you could tell me on a future note whenever you put in a new feature? (like the paper background for notes) Then I maaybe wouldn't become so confused. ;P

Yup, I never got an immediate response from you; so I knew you went to bed. ;)

Weell, Internet Explorer 7 still has some flaws here and there ;3 I remember having this problem a while ago, dealing with it at the helpdesk, so I know it's nothing new - I remember being affected by that as well, though I can't remember whether it was in IE or Firefox ;3 (A while it happened on my site too, until I found out that it was because I missed closing a tag). I never noticed the Firefox ads - aren't they just on the front page?

Teh-heh, buuut doesn't it make everything more interesting if you find them out for yourself? ;3 You probably noticed the activity link on the left, buut that's about everything I can think of, that is at least *somewhat* new ;P

D: ...did you just add that activity button there, or is it just me? Sheesh, I'm so pitiful!

(Taunting me with your hidden pics again, I see. ;3 I'm watching you!)

Yeah, the firefox ads are off to the side, though I'm not sure if it's the front page only. And yeah, people are constantly like "OMG get firefox...!! It's teh best browser ever! IE sux you will get viruses with IE!!"

I mess up my links sometimes. I would forget to make the closing thing, and then all of the following text is a clickable link. D: Thank God for edit buttons!

(This is like a hidden part of your site, huh? I got here by clicking the hints on your old journal. :3 )

Oh, it's been there for quite a time already, buuut still, I didn't mean it to stand out or anything ;3 I just found it'd be really helpful to check my old posts and stuff, you know? ^-^

(Meeeee? Taunting you with hidden pictures? Suuuuure ;P What hidden pictures anyway? ;P)

Oh, not just the front page? Where else is it? And you know, the reason I switched to Firefox is just that it's safer ;3 Internet Explorer does have a lot of security issues and most of them are actively exploited <.< I don't know, I just feel safer with it, and think of it, if it weren't for Firefox and stuff, IE7 wouldn't have tabs or RSS or anything ;3

Saaame here ;P Or sometimes I mistype them ;P Editing is definitely helpful here X3

(Yup, pretty much, I think you can get here by going here, but it's not linked anywhere on the site, just on devArt - which actually makes sense, since it's help for devArt only ;P )
