Aww ;_; We've had very hot weather too at times, but usually it was just fine, temperature-wise ^-^ We usually get around 28 to 32 degrees Celsius in the summer, and between -5 to -15 degrees in the winter, which means quite some variety for us ;P And same here - usually it doesn't rain often, but when it does, it usually rains for a couple of days (since we're surrounded by mountains, kind of like living in a bowl - once the rain clouds get in, it takes them some time to get out again X3 )

The only downside to the hot weather is the fact that it drys out all the plants and that can be a real bugger during fire season. But I wish it would rain, cause this hot weather's killing me...

Oh yes, I heard of that! I guess that's a pretty big downside, but then again, it can happen anywhere, really - too hot weather here isn't good for people's health either, you can hear the ambulance pretty often when we get those exceptionally hot days with 35-38°C ^^;

(Same reason I love rain ^-^ It cools everything down a little, and it sounds reeeeally soothing too <3 )

2003 was not the best year for fire season, we got evacuated and everything. Our house is fine though, thanks to my dad.

No, thank goodness. I would've lost a lot of things I forgot to grab; video games, cd's, etc...

Same here - not to mention the drawings, and letters ^^; Most things such as CDs or video games you can get back, but a letter from someone else would be gone for good X.x;

Oh, of course, I would grab everything from the top drawer of my dresser, cuz that's where I keep all the things my friends give me like little notes, and completely random pieces of paper.
